What job could I do ??

I loved working in the Airline indusrty and I was cabin crew but since having a baby I cant return to my job as my husband is a pilot in the same company and its not fair on the baby that we are both away if anything happened its not like we can just drive home .what other jobs in the industry could I do shift work is not really ideal ide love to do ATC but agen its shift work

Maybe you could work at an FBO (fixed based operator) as a CSR (customer service rep) or something else. There is always something open at an FBO in the business aviation sector, and you might be able to find something closer to home.

what is it with people thinking they are qualified to judge your life choices?  gimme a break!

my company now allows res agents to work at home.  your experience might qualify you to work in crew scheduling or some other HDQ function.

jtexas has it right, he beat me to it. Check to see if your company has any home based reservation agent positions open. If they don`t maybe you could be on the ground floor to start a new dept.

you should know about the jobs at an airline if both you and your husband work there.  You wanna work for an airline, but don't want to be flight crew, and don't want shift work...good luck

Best bet being that you are former flight crew would be to work dispatch imho.

I understand.....I think you're more wanting for having a job than a full time mother job of which,a woman could be proud of fullfilling a motherhood.It is only my opinion if you could stay with your newborn baby to take care of, because she/he needs you more than a job somewhere awaiting for you that could separate away from your dear child.Anyway,its all up to you which priority is deserving.

Well you can be a ramp agent

Or work as customer service.

There's plenty of jobs that doesn't include flying where you work with a airline.
