  1. Any 11 series MOS (infantry, different types)

  2. Infantry is going to be your starting point no matter what.  From infantry graduation you can go to para-trooper school and ranger training.  That is a long road though, you best chance is to get into a counter-terrorism unit doing snatch and grabs on suspect al-qaeda.  Beyond that, try and prove your a badass to put it bluntly.  Once you reach E-5 you can try out for spec-ops and that's where the action is going to be.  Good luck.

  3. Infantry.

Then, they'll throw you on front lines to get killed. It'd be wise to choose something else other than infantry.

  4. In this day and age, I'd say the JAG does the most fighting... <g>  just not the kind you're thinking of!

  5. Infantry.

I don't encourage you to seek fighting, not one man that has ever entered combat expecting it to be gloriful has reported it was so.  Still, it's a job that needs to be done at times, you should approach it with that attitude.

  6. As stretched out as our Army is now you will not have to worry about getting your share of fighting. If it were peace time I would say join the Marines. Good luck.

  7. I respect you alot, but after the surge there is not much fighting!
