Let's say you have two choices: Go study to be a food chemist or go to study to be a registered nurse. What would you choose?

A food chemist gets to work with food. They know the secret ingredients, say in a caramilk, or they can develop new food products that are lower in calories (or whatever they are asked to create) that may end up in the supermarket. They also can check for contamination of food. They spend time in the laboratory most of the time analysing food and it's content. They become food experts. They can be food product developer or a food inspector. It's very practical.

However a registered nurse can help people who are sick or injured. They make lot more money than a food scientist. They're job is secure than a food scientist. However, they work different shifts like night and day. They spend lots of time lifting, carrying for people, and they give patients baths and needle shots and meds. It can be emotional, having to deal with sick and dying patients. They have to be at the hospital all day. They are at high risk at catching disease and getting sick themselves.

  1. i would be a criminal investigater

  2.        I don't know much about the food chemist field but I do know  a career in healthcare will be a very secure one.

If I could start over again I would study to be a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant.   Though an RN can advance and will be in super demand for the aging population.

  3. registered nurse

  4. Hmm... I was always rubbish at science at school, so I don't think either of them are up my street!  I'd say being a nurse would be more rewarding, I'd go for that one, and just pray I get better at it!

  5. That's a tough one. If registered nurses didn't have a good chance of catching illnesses, I'd probably rather be one of them.
