What jobs are benificial to a great mass of people, that leave you feeling good and whole at the end of a day?

I want to do something where I'd travel to the poor of other countries, but I'm not sure what to be exactly. Any input would be great as well. I hope to hear from a lot of you viewers out there!

You don't want to travel unless you can make a solid difference in their lives.  You can't.  The problem is too vast for any one person to solve.  And for the rest of your life, you'll have those children and mothers in your heart, longing to help them, with not enough resources.

I had a friend who worked with a charitable organization.  She spent all day checking out stories, determining who was truly deserving of their help, and then giving out money.  That's my kind of job.

doctor, teacher, musician, artist.

you could go to another country to teach kids ENGLISH.

i dont think you need a teaching degree in some countries.

churches do a lot of relief aid in other countries...there's also the red cross, peace corps, fema, save the children, and things like that...you could also be an activities assistant/coordinator at a senior's home or children's hospital...the patients there are always lonely and enjoy having company...it is really good that you want to make a difference...if more people would devote a little of their time to helping others, the world would be a much better place... =)
