What jobs are good for an 18 year old that has an appartment in Fresno CA?

I need a job that will pay my rent that is 695 a month...

First of all you will probably need to be paid at least 8-10 dollars an hour to be able to afford an apartment by yourself.  That is doable if you have experience but will be really difficult at entry level type jobs.

You may want to consider looking for a room mate.

A really good place that many people forget to look is your state's unemployment office.  They provide services regardless of your employment status.

1.  Check the Fresno Bee classifieds Work Wanted.

2.  Put in applications at the jobs that you are qualified for

3.  Put in applications at Walmart, Target, vons, Save Mart, Albertsons, Food 4 Less, Food Maxx, any and all big box stores

4.  Costco pays really well, I would apply there too

5.  Also try temporary employment agencies, like Select, Denham, etc.  based on your skills, they may be able to find you work as well while you wait for something else to come through.

If you live close to the Airport, try Pelco or the Gap Warehouse too
