one job that none have mentioned is a horse groomer



and sometimes people will pay to have someone exercise there horse

another one is boarding horses many people make a decent living boarding horses

hm. theres a ton of jobs.

like actually owning your own barn, buying/selling horses, training horses, being a horseback rider instructor, cleaning up after the horses, working at a tack shop, etc.

personally i want to own my own barn (:

If you like the medical aspect, you could train to be a vet or vet tech.

You could apprentice as a farrier.

You could learn equine dentistry.

You could teach riding lessons, run a riding camp, help in therapy groups that use horses to help the disabled.

You could ride professionally for yourself or others.

You could buy, train, and sell horses.

You could be a jockey at the race track, a trainer, or an excercise rider, or groom.

You could work for HITS, in the business end of horse shows.

If you enjoy the arts, you could become a professional equine photographer/show photographer or paint/sculpt horses for a living.

........and of course, every stable always needs someone to muck stalls, feed, water, schelp hay and grain, sweep, etc.!
