I'm a 15 year old girl going on 16 in February and I live with my Daddy and my 14 year-old brother. Money is very tight because of school fees and recent medical bills that just keep coming. My Dad works two jobs. One that pays too low for all the hard labor he does and the other is being a daddy to 2 teenage kids. He has it hard.

I want to get a job to help him out financially. I work around the house so he comes home to a clean house and my schoolwork is very good so he doesnt have to stress about school work.

Please tell me some job ideas I can get that will pay. Please. Thank you.

  1. Try baby-sitting/pet-sitting a little on the weekends.

A major grocery store, for food discounts. Or a clothing store, clothes discounts.

  2. If you have any skills utilize them.

If you do graphic design go out and and design.

You can easily land a fast food job expect low pay for a while.

    You could tutor people.

You can go to Craigslist.com and search for jobs in your city.

    Hope that helps

  3. You can get jobs at some restaurants being a waitress at your age.

  4. I myself am turning 16 in less than a week but this summer I worked for Parks and Rec in my city so basically I just helped out looking after kids at a day camp and just played ball tag and capture the flag and stuff. Made around $9 an hour 8 hours a day which seemed great to me because I made around 3gs (Around 300-400 a week) doing this so far (Thats just this summer). It ended now but I got a job at the YMCA after school but I probably will only be making around 100-250 since I,ll be working less hours and for only around 6-7. Personally, I have very little work experience but so far I would say this has been a great job that I would reccomend. Not sure if thats enough money to help out but its the best legit way to get it in high school.
