What jobs can you find with a BS in economics that doesn't require overtime?

Every job I see online require a masters and/or overtime. What are some job titles for entry level without overtime?

  1. if you take a few more classes you could teach Social Studies


  2. You should look for government jobs, then.  They tend not to have very much overtime.  You get less pay (sometimes), but you get good benefits and regular hours.  I would look for analyst in labor, economic development, tourism or similar departments.

  3. maybe  you should know about month rates and daily rates.. only daily rated have are overtime job..month rates just do overtime  cause they want finished their work..Company do not pay them for doing that's overtime work..

  4. These day's, 41 to 50 hours a week are pretty standard everywhere.  Just the nature of business for "Exempt" employee's.

    first I just changed jobs to get better hours , lost some wage

    but after 3 years I will be ahead of where i am now

    More and more People dont want to be tied to their jobs, staying at the same job for 40 years , and having an appreciative boss doesnt exist anymore

    corporations change hands, pension plans dissapear

    why should you work overtime for shareholder profits?

    keep searching, lots of companies hire economics people for ethics work.
