But you can do stuff around your neiborhood and in your family. Such as babysitting or mowing lawns.

There aren't many jobs you can get at fourteen, because most people want 16 year olds. I tried not long ago, I am fifteen and only got my job because I know the owner of the place! However the best thing you can do is try. Apply for jobs in shops and stuff, because that is what you are most likely to get. If you are involved in a club (outside of school) ask if you can work there, as they may need helpers.

london? Im not sure, do you need a work permit? Well try to look for an "assistant"  job of some sort, make up counters, bakery, faxing at an office..... I say start wiht people you know. At that age you dont have much experience, which is the hard part. I began volunteering at this cool thrift shop when I was 15 and after a few months of proving myself, they offered me a paid part time job upon getting a work permit. the first thing I did was help my mom out at  factory she owned and made a few connections, You just have to keep your eyes open all the time. And prove you are mature anywhere you go.

A Good choice (and the favourite of many) is the trusty paper round. Of course, the longer the route the more pay you get but it's up to you how much you do. Proper paid (payroll) employment is not an option until 16 years of age (when you get your national insurance number).

I did a paper round when i was about 14/15 and the pay wasn't too bad.
