Depends on where you live. In NY you can be lead teacher in a day care classroom if you have some experience with kids. Different states have different rules.

You should be able to work at private schools, tutoring centers, and daycare centers.  Depending on the regulations in each state you may be able to open your own daycare facility.  Many in Utah do this with no college degree at all.

Our public schools hire people with associate degrees as technicians, teacher aides, summer school teachers, and substitute teachers.
