  1. Call National Customer Service Center: 1-800-375-5283

    Visit this site:  http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis

For more information you can get and what you should do. have a good luck.

  2. Basically, the employer has to file a petition with USCIS that has to be approved before a visa can be issued by the US embassy. Most petitions fall under either the skilled employment, H1b category or the temporary or seasonal employment, H2b category. Skilled employment is defined as a position that requires either a university degree or it's equivalent in training and experience. The H1b category is limited in number and frequently unavailable as the numbers run out.

But first, your cousin has to find someone who's  not only willing to hire her but also willing to do the paperwork and then wait for approval. she has to have the right visa to do this and she can only get that if her prospective employer does the paperwork first. check out uscis.gov for more info.

  3. You need one in ALL jobs in the US to work legally.

  4. It has to be a 'specially skilled' type of job. The employer must show that they have reasonalbly tried to hire local employees threw regular means of advertizments and because of lack of interest or lack of skills they must hire from an outside country to achieve the special skill they are looking for. Not very promising, i know..  Good Luck
