  2. Goldsmiths and others working with precious metals.

    Bankers/money lenders [I THINK since the Biblical times, there were ALWAYS people who provided loans to and for others.]

    Doctors

    The folks who made alcoholic beverages: beer, wine and spirits.

    Folks who made barrels for wine, beer and other alcoholic beverages.

    Tax collectors.

    Teachers

    Those ladies and gentlemen in "THE OLDEST profession": Prostitutes.
