  1. There are several foods that help with water retention.

Foods that relieve water retention include (in order of effectiveness)

    asparagus

    nettles

    corn (and corn silk tea

    grapes,

    cucumbers

    watermelon (and watermelon seed tea)

    parsley

    celery

    black tea

    green tea

  2. Cranberry juice helps and do not eat things that are very salty.  Salt combines with water and that is what causes water retention

  3. its not a juice, but dandelion tea works the best

  4. avoid salts

also your body will retain water if it feels its not getting enough of it

Once it does realize its getting its share it will start releasing on its own

when it does dont stop dirnking 6-8 glasses of healthy liquid a day to prevent it from happening again

  5. Cranberry juice may work as a diuretic, but if you prefer something that works a little better, then tea and coffee are good alternatives.

  6. Any red, blue or purple berry juices can help. Cranberry is the most popular, but pomegranate, blueberry, raspberry and blackberry as well as grape can all be diarretics.

I just eat or juice celery and parsley in with any of the above berrys and Voila!! you have a great tasting concoction that helps relieve the swelling and pain.
