  1. you mean what defines it as living versus non-living?

tissue made of living cells.. motion..

what does the properness of a nervous system have to do with it? it's there..

what makes sponges alive? or plants for that matter? or single celled organisms. they dont have nerves, or hearts...

  2. Most jellyfish are passive drifters that feed on living or dead preys: small fish, eggs, zooplankton and other invertebrates that become caught in their tentacles. Preys are brought (by tentacles, if they have any) into the cavity, called coelenteron, where it is digested. Jellyfish have an incomplete digestive system, meaning that the same o*****e is used for both food intake and waste expulsion.

  3. it is what is known as a filter feeder:

this means that it suckks up litres of water thru its body each day and collects tiny pieces of debre/ food particles in the water, also plankton, that is about all.

a jelly fish does have a type of nervous system but not like ures and mine :) it does not need a heart because it has no blood, but it absorbes minerals in the water by various gradients it uses (this is quite complicated so i wont go into detail unless u want more info)

  4. it still has a stomach a brain, the brain sends electrical impluses to move it.

  5. Go to Wikipedia.org and type up Jellyfish they have lots of good info they should be able to help
