What keeps color in cologne from staining your clothes? WHy doesnt it stain your clothes?

Actually, I did have cologne stain my clothes before.  I used to use Halston for women (loved the fragrance), but it left orange stains on my light-colored clothes.  Now I only use pale-colored or clear cologne, and try not to get it on anything light in color.

This could be because of the alcohol content that cologne does not stain, as rubbing alcohol will remove many stains Good Luck !

I have found that it does stain clothing.  It can leave a lighter mark.

lol I do not have a clue, never thought about it!!!! maybe the alcohol content!!
