  1. the blue you see in the sky is a reflection of the ocean

  2. bird pooooooooop

  3. Air is blue.

  4. The atmosphere acts like a prism, bending blue light the most and red light the least.  During the day time, the atmosphere bends blue light towards us to make the sky appear blue.  And during the evening, the sky bends blue light away from us, making the sky appear red.

  5. Reflection. Our planet is 70 percent+ water. Through a prism water is refected as mostly to the blue spectrum, this is why the sky looks blue to gray.

  6. every weekend i stand on the moon facing the earth and spray 5 cans of blue spray paint towards it....

  7. Why's the grass green?  eh?

  8. The blue color of the sky is due to Rayleigh scattering. As light moves through the atmosphere, most of the longer wavelengths pass straight through. Little of the red, orange and yellow light is affected by the air.

However, much of the shorter wavelength light is absorbed by the gas molecules. The absorbed blue light is then radiated in different directions. It gets scattered all around the sky. Whichever direction you look, some of this scattered blue light reaches you. Since you see the blue light from everywhere overhead, the sky looks blue.

  9. There is a physical phenomenon called Rayleigh scattering that causes light to scatter when it passes through particles that have a diameter one-tenth that of the wavelength (color) of the light. Sunlight is made up of all different colors of light, but because of the elements in the atmosphere the color blue is scattered much more efficiently than the other colors.

So when you look at the sky on a clear day, you can see the sun as a bright disk. The blueness you see everywhere else is all of the atoms in the atmosphere scattering blue light toward you. (Because red light, yellow light, green light and the other colors aren't scattered nearly as well, you see the sky as blue.)

  10. NO  the sky is not blue,  it's a illusiion,  our eyes can't penetrate the universe, we cannot see very deep,  we see the sky blue because is the limit of our vision, but if you go 10.000 miles on the sky you will see blue again, no end on the Universe.

If you stand at the beach and see the ocean, you see the end not to far but if you go where you see end, you will find the same illusion.

So,  Life is an  illusion in metaphysical terms
