  1. from the millions of people who still smoke

  2. I don't smoke but I wish people leave tobacco companies alone, specially in America. Pollution, alcohol and smoke comming out of the cars kills more people than second hand smoke from the cigerates.

  3. Tobacco smoking has not declined in many other countries and the market is strong there. In the US there is a decline but for those still entrapped there is a market and the prices are high giving good profit. Many tobacco companies diversified into other enterprises and there they continue to profit.

  4. Overseas sales, and gullible 14 year olds.

  5. Decline in smoking?.... lol.... <_<

  6. uh! i dont know where you got that idea

    because it hasnt decreased

    more like INCREASED.

  7. I think that less people have started smoking than what was regular.. well maybe. But a lot of my college friends smoke and my family smokes. Plus at 25-50 dollars a carton.. thats a lot of cash.

  8. They're still huge. They might have lost a lot of customers, but they still have more than enough to continue making billions of dollars.

  9. They are still selling a lot of cigarettes, and the business is highly profitable because the demand is not very sensitive to price.
