I found the sheet music for Memory from cats for the piano in my aunts things. And there is this one note that looks like a middle C only it has 1 line under it, then the next one is the same thing but with two lines under it, what exactly does that mean? How do I play those notes?

  1. If they are indeed middle C it will be one line below E on the standard staff.  The standard staff will have the normal trebel clef symbol.  If there are additional lines under it, it means nothing, it's just the way some older publishers printed it.

If the staff has something other than the trebel clef at the beginning, you need to find out which clef you are supposed to play.
