What keys do you use when shooting pool?

Line up your shots before you take them and imagine the cue ball striking the object ball so that it will sink in the desired pocket.  

When you go to strike the ball make sure that your body is far enough down so that you can still see your shot.  Too many pool players take shots while almost standing up, which limits the ability to maintain a precise aim.  

Then take a smooth stroke and do not "stab" the ball as it will often lead to a miscue or misstrike of the cue ball.  Remember also not to try to "kill" the cue ball when you strike it, this will only lower the accuracy of your shot as well as your ability to shape your next shot.

I try focus on cue ball control and the mental aspect of the game. Those are the "keys" to good pool.  :)

nice smooth level stroke when shooting,take your time and look at the table.i try to keep it simple,a lot of people try to make magic happen when they shoot,i try to take the shot that will make the cue naturally line up for the next shot
