i will give you my theory, they are many super advanced civilizations in the universe one is the leader, but one has enough that she must obey all the time the leader so she traveled billions of light years where they found earth where the dinosaurs are the most dominant species and they see that they are not intelligent species, so they decided to wipe them out,to create other beings(us humans) to evolve into the most intelligent beings in the universe and they have plan how to control the universe with us, and right now they are waiting us to evolve.and they could have directed the meteor that killed the dinosaurs.

  7. Yeah... or a meteor crashed into earth as they tend to do from time to time without the aid of alien beings.

  8. I would like to find out why too...

  9. The smartest dinosaurs, the Raptors, became intelligent and built a huge civilization. Because it existed 66 million years ago all traces of its buildings and roads have disappeared. They became what is known as a supercompetitive species and wiped out all their competitors, namely all other medium and big-sized dinosaurs.

Then when the big rock the scientists like came and hit, and darkened the sky for a generation, and froze the oceans, and etc, their civilization was disrupted and starved for resources and fell to war and infighting, until finally it was abandoned like the Mayan cities of old. And because their superdominance had starved out most dinosaurs, the clever little rats came scurrying out of the forests, gradually grew bigger and out-evolved the last remnants of the raptors. A few of the smaller ones had become birds but within a brief geologic time the raptors too were extinct.

I write this story to point out that we, too, are in the middle of a mass extinction, caused by us. A huge fraction of Earth's species have gone extinct in just 5000 years, especially the last 100 years. In 10 million years if another civilization digs up evidence of the mass die-off we are causing now, what will they blame... they'll probably notice the global warming but they won't know why
