  1. you can also try tea tree oil. it will definitely relieve  the irritation caused by the mites. also go to the pet store and you can buy the shampoo for small animals for lice which is the same chemical to kill mites. I  had it with my rats and they informed me that it works with both pestsites on all small animals.

  2. If there is a local Pets At Home, then I recommend that. It is in the small pets isle and it is called Guinea Pig and Rabbit Mite Treatment.

Sometimes mites and lice are carried in the hay you get so make sure you get hay that is "Mite Free".

    Hope I helped! :)

  3. You can try flea powder but only use the kind made for kittens. Also you can try bathing them in flea shampoo but again use only the kind made for kittens not full grown cats and keep it out of their eyes. My rabbits seem to love water so that is the way I went. Good luck!

  4. No flea powder or tea tree oil. They are both toxic and can harm your rabbit.

Ivermectin or revolution are fine to use.

  5. you need Ivermectin...you can get in in an injectable form and give it oraly...but there is also an oral paste it is a horse wormer but works wonders...I give it atleast 2 times a year to my rabbits but it can be given more often with a smaller dosage...flea powders don't work on fur mites. you can get ivermectin any place where you get horse supplys.

  6. A kitten does of Revolution works well. Or you can give them a series of Ivermectin treatments.
