I compete in several events. I run the 400m, the 200m, and the 800m. I also do the long jump and triple jump. I need to know what kind of spike to use (pyramid, christmas tree, or needle) and what length to use for each event.

  1. use the pyramid, 3/8th

100m,200m,400m = sprinting spikes make sure u got sprinting spikes. those are the ones that are reccomended for races under 400m they have no support at the back

800 depends how you run the race. if your tippy toeing 75% or more of the race use sprinting spikes. if not then use distance spikes those are the shoes with support on the back and there flat.

also triple and long jump sprinting spikes are best.

you should always use 3/8th spikes. and sounds too me like you need 2 pairs of shoes
