  1. I use the Nike Free training shoes. They are lighter than "traditional" volleyball shoes, which helps with footspeed and jumping. They also look better than mizuno or asics.

  2. I would not suggest any brand coz every person is against every brand. I would advice u to buy shoes which are light in weight and comfortable for your feet. You should choose a good soul as it makes a lot of difference.

    Take care.

  3. Mizunos and Asics have been major volleyball shoes manufacturers for a long time.

I just purchased a pair of Mizuno Wave Lightening 3 but Tornado 2 costs $10 more and may be a bit better.

I'd recommend either one of these two.  I personally think L3 looks better but T2 gives you tighter heel support.

It's all upto your personal preference.

You could use basketball shoes if you have ankle problems.

Otherwise, it would be best if you have volleyball shoes because they're much lighter.

One brand I don't recommend for volleyball is Nike's.  Nike's have relatively thicker soles due to air bubbles, or some sorts of strange looking heel support.  Thicker the soles, more chances of spraining your ankles.  I badly sprained my ankle twice wearing Nike's and a couple of weeks ago, my frined sprained his wearing Nike Shox.

  4. I'm a Mizuno guy too....or Asics...

  5. mizuno wave lightnig 3...made specfially for v-ball

  6. Mizuno Wave Tornado 2 Volleyball Shoes:

Eastbay has the Yr2006 version, cheaper but not all sizes available.
