Next month I qualify for an upgrade. I currently have the blackberry curve. I really want a smart phone, I would prefer the ones that open up, however do they have good reception? features? I'll admit it the only features that I use on my blackberry are texting, my notepad, alarm, and to take pictures. I don''t really care about the internet. However, I do care about reception, what phone do you recommend?

  1. humm try the att tilt. My ex boyfriend got it today and was texting me. It sounds like he likes it. It has a full keyboard, awesome camera, and touch screen. i think the phones a little big but it has like a really big keyboard.

  2. don't know if your a blackberry fan but if you wait there are going to be some new smartphones coming out this winter

  3. You can have a look at AT&T Tilt 8925 Smartphone ..A decent deal i find for it is $50.

  4. not many smart phones flip open.. i have the blackberry curve and i love it. you can get a service so that you dont have internet or email if you dont use those features

and you can always go for the iphone. thats definitely a sick phone.

  5. Well Smartphones are usually barphones... if you like the Blackberry, there is a NEW BlackBerry coming out sometime in September called the BlackBerry Bold. And to be honest, BlackBerrys get the Best reception... next, reception wise, are Sony Ericssons... AT&T currently has 3 Sony Ericssons in the store, and they are all like walkman phones, you can listen to FM radio on them as well as XM and also sync music from your computer to your phone- just like you do with smartphones.

And looking at the other answers that have been provided- DO NOT GET THE TILT! That thing is horrible.. it is the LEAST user friendly phone out there...
