What kind of Bug/moth is this?

I just found a bug on my curtains..

It seems to be a moth..

It sort of looks like one, but it has a much skinnier, base../..body.

Its like black with yellow stripes on the body..

and the wings are transparent..it's really weird.

I didn't want to kill it so I just caught it in a cup..and to my surprise it played dead haha.

It was the weirdest thing.

Does anyone have any insight on what type of bug/moth/flying critter it could possibly be?

I know it's hard to stab at a guess with no pictures, which I would take but the cup its in..isnt very visible.

Black body/yellow stripes. (About the size of the inside of a pen..[the thing that holds the ink])

and..transparent..dotted wings..
