What kind of CAMERA will get me photos like these?

I don't know too too much about cameras but i know i want an slr camera. i am willing to spend alot but not crazyy amounts. Thank you soo much for anyone who answers!!!

Well the camera doesn't make the photo. It is limited to your imagination and creativity. I personally like photos taken with a Nikon D40. On flickr you can see the pictures you like and the camera they were taken with. Go to the link in the source below and view different cameras, click on them and they will show you photos. Click on the second link to see pictures taken with a NIKON D40.

Basically any digital SLR. I suggest the Nikon D40 or the Pentax K10D.

Top two brands: Nikon and Canon

Upper brands: Olympus, Sony, etc...

Remember though, its not the camera, its the photog.

Any SLR will be able to take similar pictures. The second picture is totally undistinguished and could be done with a point&shoot too. The last two are taken close up with a wide angle lens.

$500 will get you a Nikon D40. Another $500 will buy a nice superwide zoom.
