What kind of Caterpillar?

i found a huge caterpiller in my yard, it looks identical to hemlick from a bugs life, what kind of caterpiller is it? this is my first time seeing such a huge caterpiller, we took pictures and i caught it for my son.

I'll let you try.  I don't remember what the caterpillar in the "bugs Life" looked like.  Caterpillars are best if you let them mature and identify the butterfly or moth.
