I've never had a credit card. I just finished school and I'm now working full-time. I'm about to start my life and I need to start building up some credit.

  1. You might have to go with a capital one or orchard card.  you can view here http://www.creditforums.org/f13/got-my-r...  These are both good cards to start building your credit.  Just remeber do not max them out of go over your limit. They will let you go over your limit then charge you for going over it.  Keep balances below 35% of total available credit.  Also you might want to go to your bank and take out a personal loan for 500 or 1000.  500 for six months 1000 for a year.  You may have to secure your loan with a bank cd but this is a excellent way to build you credit.  You can even go one step further and take that 500 or 1000 and go to another bank and take out another loan using that money to secure it.  Two personal bank loans would be excellent for your credit, just make sure they are reporting to all three credit bureaus.
