  1. Dude, Anything from Western Digital is great. They have pretty reliable hard drives and you can purchase any model from them. Just be careful about the RPM speed. Which is revolutions per minute of the hard drive. RPM should not be less than 7200.

True gamers get 10000 RPM speed drives but they are expensive and make some noise. So 7200 RPM drives will be better.

Remember lost of manufacturers make these speedy drives but stick with any model from Western Digital brands, they are very reliable.

    Hope I helped.

  2. Ok all you need to know is inside your computer. If you see a wide Ribbon cable going into your hard drive then you need to buy an IDE hard drive but if you see a bright red wire then you need to buy a SATA drive thats all thats really important. The only other thing is the hard drive speed if its a desktop computer i recoment a 7200 RPM harddrive.

  3. your PC can take up to 2 SATA hard drives.

Would suggest you get the one of the best GB/$ drive i.e. the Seagate ST3500320as. It's a 500GB drive with 32mb cache. Would give you a performance boost in program load times also!

  4. Your motherboard seems to accept two SATA drives: that means you can just buy another SATA HD, connect it and get the additional space. Your controller is a Serial ATA-300, so it should accept a SATA 3 Gbit/s.
