we used to get monkey on a stick , grilled w/ some type of delic sauce , i could sure go for some of that right now . been years !!!!! i like just about everything i've tried except jelly fish { it's like grisly cabbage }

Well, let's see...

I like to start out with some good sake.  Then I adore Miso soup and rice.  Add to that some sushi- unagi or yellowtail.  Continue with some tempura, sashimi and udon noodles.  Finish with green tea ice cream.  AHHHHH!!!

OKONOMIYAKI!

It is sooo good, my absolute favorite food in Japan.  Although I definitely prefer Hiroshima style to Kansai style.  I have it at least once a week!  

I also like curry rice (made it for dinner last night!), miso ramen, gyoza, japanese pickles (esp. takuan), miso soup, sashimi, kitsune udon, inari zushi, tuna-mayo onigiri, tofu, sukiyaki, kimchi nabe.... the list goes on.  Never been a fan of wasabi, eel, fish eggs, or fishy tasting fish though.

Now I'm hungry!

Well, I love sushi and I like good teriyaki-not that Yoshinoya or whatever.  For sushi it's the freshwater eel(bbq), tuna nigri, the salmon nigri is a little too oily for me to have often but if it's really fresh and really cold it's delicious.  The best teriyaki is hypnotizing.
