What kind of Job can I get at 15, and in the area of WV, and Kentucky??

I'm 15, and I live pretty much on the border line of WV and KY, I mean I live at least 5 minutes from KY but still. I need a summer job, somewhere that pays and I don't have any ideas and I'm pretty sure you have to be 16 to work at a fast food place. Please Help!!

There are virtually no jobs out there for a 14 or 15 yr old because of child labor laws. Some employers are backing off hiring until 18 nowadays so they'll have more shift options.

Try marketing yourself as a babysitter for your neighborhood. Either American Heart Association or Red Cross offers a first aid course for babysitters (can't remember which). Get certified, then advertise yourself in your neighborhood newsletter.

Try your local parks and recreation for pool jobs. Had a friend who worked at the concession stand one summer when she was 15.

Don't know the state laws but you would need a work permit from your school. Check with them or an employer, they will help you.
