  1. i just asked almost the same question.  i'm only getting around 25-30 from my 919cc honda in the city, but i'm worried something's wrong...  or maybe it's the way i drive...

  2. On my YZF1000R I was getting about 50MPG... But after Market exhaust, Dynojet jet kit, and K & N filter has dropped that to about 40-45.

  3. Your riding habits make the difference. On the highway, I get 52 mpg on my Harley. In the city that drops to 45. 1450cc, 88 cubic inch. It also depends on your weight, what accessories you have on the bike, and the elevation you are at. Most motorcycles that are properly tuned and stock will get between 35 and 55 mpg depending on riding style.

A buddy of mine who weighs 175lbs and is 5'09, has on 06 CBR 1000 stock, gets 50 and 52...Hope this helps.

  4. Figure its your driving. The Repsol...  about 25 if you have it open. (150 HP, remember?)

  5. a 200cc four stroke gets 50-60 MPG average.... you can expect MUCH less from a bike of that size...

anything over 600cc and you're no longer really conserving gas.... might as well be driving a more modern car...

  6. not that much.  It is not a small engine bike.

I think you would be lucky to get about 50 to 60 mpg.

But much of that depends on your riding habit.

    Good Luck...

  7. If you are trying to leave the ground or if you are trying to impress someone and dont mind poor gas mileage then  a 1000 cc bike is good for this purpose. If you wish to stay on the ground with the rest of us and prefer better gas milage then a  650 cc bike is more then enough  power.Your choice for sure! Best of luck!
