Question:

What kind of Running Diet should i have, ?????

Im currently making a list of all the things I shouldn't eat while Im running cross country and so far I only have candy and ice cream.Also,how much sugar can I have a day? I'm 13 if that helps.

  1. && soda, chips, junk food in general. but you can still eat these things! just a small ammount everyday instead of large ammounts.


  2. Cut down on fat which is contained in obvious foods- fries, take away etc. Up your in take of protein so you become stronger for running up those hills (milk, meat, poached eggs etc) and carbohydrates for energy (starchy food like boiled or mashed potatoes, pasta etc).

  3. *water is your best friend.

    you should have at least 6 cups of water

    some things you should eat..

    -carbs (pasta, pizza, breads, beans)

    -veggies!

    -sugar isnt bad, but dont have alot

    -eat foods that youre comfortable with

    - Caffiene = horrible for a runner

    -milk before a run isnt recommended

    -salt isnt really good  before a race

    Day before a race

    -WATER

    -carbs

    Before a race..

    -eat stuff that youre comfortable to run with..

    stuff like granola bars, water, possibly fruit
