What kind of TV should I get for my?

What king of TV should I get for my PS3 to look nice! as of now I have a SD 19', I don't want something very expensive! I want a TV that ranges from $800 to $1200! or would a good one be more than that?

You could purchase a nice 40' LCD for around that price. Just make sure you get a 1080p to take advantage of the great picture quality the PS3 blueray player can make.

If you can control the light in the room ( basement preferred ) go with Plasma, they no longer have screen burn ( Panasonic for sure ). Stick with 1080P if you can afford it if not 720p should be OK ( not too noticeable difference on smaller TV sets ). Plasma TV's run a lot faster than LCD's and you will notice a smoother picture plus colours are better. You can pick up a panasonic plasma in that price range. If your TV is upstairs with lots of light ( windows ) get a LCD, better for less reflection. A good LCD is Samsung or Sharp, Sony is good but expensive and for your price range you will not be getting a 50 inch so you will not notice a visual difference. My son has a 32 inch Sharp Aquos 720p / 1080i and it looks great with his PS3. I have a 46 inch Panasonic plasma 1080P it looks better but costs a lot more.
