What kind of a tie matches with a green dress shirt?

What kind of a tie matches with a green dress shirt? It has small strips of navy blue and white.

i whould say a black tie



you don't want to go with a green tie because that would be too much green

and no clip-ons or bow ties

just an original black would be just fine

Whoa, lots of colours going on there!  Don't add anymore colours just go for a plain tie in one of the colours in the shirt.
