  1. The Kicker ZX1000.1 mono amp. Try to match the rms of the subs to the amp to acheive it's full potential.


  2. I would buy a two channel amp or a mono subwoofer amp. You need to get at least a 1000 watt amp.

  3. If you'd like to go with the same brand amp, get the kicker Zx1200.1. It puts out about 1300 watts RMS, which is more than those subs (say) they will handle, but you can always dial down the amp using the gain on it. Its always better for the life of the amp to be able to turn it down. That amp will cost you about $700 new, so be ready to pay for it.

    Now, BEWARE OF WHAT I'M ABOUT TO SAY, because it can damage your subs. My former boss had 2 CVR 15" subs running on about 800 watts RMS for over a year, and they never blew. Kicker is known for handling more power than what is put on the box, but I wouldn't push it too much. 550-600 watts RMS is all I'd do.
