  1. What are the make and model of the speakers?

I doubt the speakers are rated at 2400 watt program power - it is probably a peak power rating.

The general rule of thumb for matching professional speakers to amps is to get an amp that is AT LEAST the program power rating of the speaker at the given impedance (OHMS).

If your speakers are rated for 1200 watts program power at 4 ohms, you would get an amp that puts out at least 1200 watts at 4 ohms.

Remember that it is more dangerous to underpower your speakers than to overpower them.  An underpowered amp will go into distortion sooner for a given volume level.  Distortion is what damages speakers.

  2. depending on the speaker brand but if the speaker are 2400 wats peak, i would get a 2000 watt amp
