What kind of amp for a sony 1000w sub woofer

Question

I have a sony 1000w subwoofer which i bought recently. This is the only thing i am going to be powering by amp as i do not need to link the speakers up to it cause they are connected to the head unit. I need to know what kind (e.g. mono block, 2 channel, 4 channel amp) and how many watts and watts rms to power this kind of amp.

and what kind of amp if im thinking of installing two 4 inch speakers in the back with it?

If you are going to run a subwoofer you will need a monoblock or 2 channel but if you add a pair of speakers you will want a 4 channel amp. as to power it mainly depends on the rms power of the subwoofer. you probably need about 300-500 w RMS to power the sub.

go with about 500w TRUE power amp good wires and good grounds +++++++  ----------

mono 's fine even brigable amp good make sure it can go to your ohm rating matching games man .. ... ..
