What kind of amp should i get and where should i put it....?

i need a good 1500w 2 channel amp that has around 350-400 rms what one should i get and where should i put it i have a 1998 dodge ram 1500 4 dr extended cab and i am putting my subs in a box under my back seat. someone told me i could put the amp behind my backseat between the frame and the seat but im also heard it could over heat.... any suggestions?

im not sure what amp you should get because you didnt say what subs or speakers you have.. and i wouldent worry about the over heating you will be good if you use common sense and just place it in a spot with some good ventalation.. most likely i think you should place it wherever you would prefer is a good spot. just use common sense.
