What kind of amp should i get for these kicker subs?

ok so if i get these 2 Kicker 07DCVR122 12" subs what kind of amp should i get? i know there is 1 through 6 channel amps but how do i know which amp to get. because i know theres 2 subs so does that mean i need 2 channels? or just 1? i do know to get an amp with atleast 1600watts but what does the 800watts x 2 ohms and 400watts x 4ohms mean. i know its a lot but i just need some general info on it

at first i was iffy about them but now they got my attention, get a 1200 watt performance tecknique amp. They bring the best out of cvr's

   first thing is to get the maximux performance from your subs and you do that with getting a bass amp often called monoblock amps or 1 channel amps. you can wire as many subs as u want to a 1 channel amp all the amp would do is split the power evenly between the subs.

   Second, you have to figure out what ohm load you want. You have 2 dvc 2ohm speakers so your only option is to wire them to a 2 ohm load. ohms are the subwoofers impedance or resistance. the less ohms the more pound. you would want to wire your subs like this in the link below.

    Third, now that you have what type of amp and what ohm load you want you can now pick the amp. because a monoblock amp is best and u have a 2 ohm load (2 2ohm subs makes a 2 ohm load) you will need an amp that gives 1600w at 2 ohms. I would suggest hifonics (the second link below) because they make some very good *** amps that are reliable and affordable. good luck and i hope this helps.

What I would do if I was u id get me a hifonics amp a 2000 watt amp or less but no less than 1600 .hifonics is a really good brand for amps.I would also get me an equalizer,a capacitor,and another amp for the highs(capacitor) and get some dynamat unless u already have all this.if you don't this would really make ur 12s sound good.but back to the amp question I would get me a hifonics amp
