i personally stay away from hifonics....they are very power hungery, inefficient amps.

  3. 2ohm DVC 3000watts RMS

for one of those you can wire it up for final impedance's at the amp of 1 or 4ohms

so the amp needed will have about 3000watts RMS @ 1ohm (4ohms will cost you an arm and a leg to power but it will give you better sound quality)

also make sure its CEA-compliant which means that the amp has been tested and produces or exceeds the advertised RMS wattage with minimum distortion)

    here are the CEA-compliant brands

    Alpine

    Bazooka

    Blaupunkt

    Clarion

    Eclipse

    Infinity

    JBL

    JL Audio

    JVC

    Kenwood

    Kicker

    MTX

    Pioneer

    Polk Audio

    Rockford Fosgate

    Sony

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_8652... or your best bet would be to get smaller amps that can be "strapped" together for more wattage

note: Hifonics is junk, very over rated- you would be lucky to get half of the advertised RMS wattage and it would more than likely be distorted

  4. the rockford fosgate t30001bd would be perfect. it will wire to 1 ohm and give you 3000 rms. look for it on ebay. its prob like 1200 dollars though. its the real deal though
