What kind of animal is this in my yard?

I have a picture of it in my Myspace page. I've seen it in my yard last year and this year, but not during winter. I think it may be a groundhog but looking for another opinion.

If you live by the fiver it could be a beaver,or river otter.

it has bill murray in it

but it also depends on the tail.

if the tail is really dark and like 3inches wide, it might be a beaver
