  1. a vole.....it looks alot like a mouse but can get as big as a rat....and has claws to dig...they seldom come up and eat the lawn from below....and also the grubs that are in your lawn....they do a lot of damage to the ground and when they do come to the surface its because they hit water.

  2. What? No clue.

  3. I  know this :) haha

I was once in the pond searching for some frogs for a project in the club and I was using the net and I took the net and swiped it across the bottom of the pond and i lifted it up and when I saw what was in it I almost screamed. Then I realized it was a lobster, like creature called a Crawdad.

  4. Badgers have long claws... lobsterlike?? on land?

  5. Close to water source? Probably a crawdad.

  6. maybe a crayfish?  Is the hole in the mud?

could it be some kind of mutant rat / crustacean hybrid?  like a crat?  weird.

  7. im pretty sure its a crayfish or cralldad

  8. It might be a terrestrial crayfish, if it is in a hole in the ground, especially if the ground is extremely moist.

One would need more information than you have given to idenitify what it is.
