What kind of art, if any, do you personally find offensive?

Anything that uses bodily excretions.

I find anything where the artist did not really try offensive. Sure, I may blush at nudity or chuckle at other sensitive things, but what really gets on my nerves is when I can how something could have been so much more, but then died due to the lack of effort by its creator. This can apply to artwork, poetry, photography or whatever. It saddens me to see the lost opportunities.

When artists use a gov't grant to deliberately make a statement to p**s the public off. Basically, we are paying an idiot to make us mad. Where's the art there?

HI Lady Smile.   You are asking a question which will give each individual the right to express his /her view on what... to him...  is offensive art.   I, personally, find tattoo art particularly offensive.  My view is that a person's body is not meant to be a walking canvas / billboard/ or mural.  Just my preference.....

Art whose sole purpose is to offend a religion.

I'm not religious - but that concept disturbs me.

Most abstract art, conceptual art, etc. in the vein of Pollock pisses me off, because I do not believe that mediocrity should be celebrated, which is the point that the majority of that movement is/was intentionally making.
