My mother passed away, was in nursing home, went to hospital, then back to nursing home, then went back to hospital. Don't know when she passed away, at the nursing home or hospital. No one will give me info on what happened. Neither place will give the cause of death. What kind of attorney will I need? Please someone answer, thanks.

  1. You could try a wrongful death (person injury) attorney because they will be able to request hospital/nursing home records to figure out how/when/why/where your mother died.  This information should not be kept from you by any means.  Sounds sketchy to me, I would def. call around for an attorney ASAP.

  2. your local government ask for certificates/birth/death...

using your id you should be able to get the death certificate..

i heard you need about 3 copies..they cost $30 for each.

you will need for insurance info...You may need a probate

    attorney .
