  1. Florida would probably be no different from my state, but check with a local agent

    Commercial vehicle liability, general liability, product liability, product replacement coverage, income replacement. ( You don't have to have product or income replacement, but, if you were in an accident and lost your product, that's money out of your pocket, let alone your loss of profit)

    Be sure to insure at high limits of liability..no less than $1,000,000 per occurrence.

    Also, you might want to incorporate your business. This will keep potential lawsuits from attaching your personal assets.


  2. Commercial auto and you will need to look into general liability as well.

  3. In order to be legal on the road, you need the FL auto insurance required, which is basically just PIP.  In order to get the permit to sell food from the truck, you need general liability with product liability.

    A local agent should be able to get both for you.
