What kind of baby shower did you have?

Im currently pregnant and know that baby showers have come a long way. I am aware that there are different types as well. Which did you have and why? Should there be more co-ed ones?

We're having a women only, display shower. Everyone brings gifts that are unwrapped and they go on the table for everyone to look through. Then of course the traditional games and snacks.

We did a coed party at a park for a few reasons:

1.  It worked out well, since it's the Summer.

2.  I'm not a very girly person, so other than having a lot of women in my family, I don't have a ton of girl friends.

3.  We wanted EVERYONE we love to be able to be there and celebrate.

We reserved a park, bought sandwiches, had others bring appetizers and pretty much hung out, did a few games and then opened presents.  I got to see a bunch of people I never see because they live far away.  Other than my swollen ankles, it was a lot of fun.  And having my hubby there with me was really special, because I hate being the center of attention and it was nice to have someone to share it with.
