What kind of backpack should I use for school?

I saw this Jansport with a nice design but I'm also wondering if I should get a tote or a Drawstring backpack like so many are using these days. Undecided on what to use.

Well, it all depends on what your incoming grade is.

If it's HS, here's what I and my sister's planning on doing.

I myself am getting a Jansport backpack,

cause theres no way in h**l i'd wear a tote bag publicly.

On the otherhand, my twin sister bought a tote.

But, last year, not a lot of people had tote's ;

And that was middle school.

I'd say go for a tote, but if you don't find a reasonable price, or anything you like.. settle for the jansport :D

i got a regular backpack that is actually quite large, it was 65$ regular but they had a 40% off special and then 10$ off so it was only 20$ and it has 1 large pouch, one large reach in slot, one medium pouch and one small pouch, its an adidas bag and its great!

totes hurt your back and shoulder. get one like jansport but cheaper. that's what i do.

Use a backpack. Totes are cute but really uncomfortable and disorganized. I had a drawstring bag and didn't like it because with a lot of books it is hard to get shut.

But don't listen to other people choose the bag you want to use.

If you do choose the standard "on your back" backpacks, Jansports are pretty good.  Make sure you try on your backpack at the store and bring a few books with you to use as a test.  See how it feels with the test contents zipped up and both straps placed onto your arms.  

If your parents have a decent budget and there are no rules at school sanctioning against it, I would invest in a rolling backpack.  Simply put, these will reduce the amount of weight you are carrying on your back.  Oh, if I had only been in high school when these were attainable.

I would say one of those backpacks that look like purses, those are very stylish and hold a lot of things. I love them

Hi, I have a 40$ Swiss Army backpack i got from target and it has 2 seperate pouches, a main one and a medium one. and then a front pack for like keys and smallers things. Its just a normal backpack. But a really good tip do use is put your books you need for your classes you take before lunch and put them in your backpack, then after lunnch put hose away in your locker and put your after lunch classes in your bag. It gives you a little more time to get to each class so you wont be late for class.
