What kind of ballroom dance (salsa, waltz, foxtrot etc) can i do to the pink panther theme song?

I really want to use the pink panther theme song for my wedding. Any suggestions as to what kind of dance i could use for it?

  1. Waltz works quite well, but mostly when with sharper movements.  I've been told a tango can work, but I don't know that it's true.


  2. It's a foxtrot - or for somebody who hasn't danced before, it's a slow rhythm. Very easy to dance to that song so you will have a lot of fun doing it. I teach in Sydney if you're looking for a teacher. Good luck. Danny

  4. What a shock, I agree with the pro.

    What's called "slow rhythm" dancing in Sidney is almost the same thing as bronze-level foxtrot in the American system, so if you're in the US, you don't have to worry about the distinction. As a matter of fact, American bronze foxtrot includes things like underarm turns that aren't a normal part of the International style ballroom and may be more to your liking.
