What kind of batteries are non lithium?

i am going to paris and i need to take batteries for my camera. i am not sure what kind of batteries are non lithium.

there is a new ban on them.

  2. Don't worry.  For the most part the ban is on batteries in checked luggage.  In this case you take them in your carry on.

    From the web site below:

    Under the new rules, you can bring batteries with up to 8-gram equivalent lithium content. All lithium ion batteries in cell phones are below 8-gram equivalent lithium content. Nearly all laptop computers also are below this quantity threshold.

    You can also bring up to two spare batteries with an aggregate equivalent lithium content of up to 25 grams, in addition to any batteries that fall below the 8-gram threshold.

    Your camera batteries shouldn't be any problem.
